In Corey Carolla’s role as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Red Rabbit Automation, he leads the team into many businesses to create the automation/integration solutions needed to successfully take their companies into the next Industry revolution. He comes to the team with a unique skill set in that he comes from an economic, business and workforce development background. He has held key roles in economic, community, workforce, and business development at local, regional, state and national levels. Carolla has helped develop and implement regional and state business, economic development alliance collaborations to support and advance the economic vitality of the Michigan and the Midwest region. A key to his success has been being able to identify and provide solutions for talent, business development and acquisition for new and existing industries, along with working directly with key community stakeholders in the strategic planning of activities to support talent pipeline and business development strategies particularly in manufacturing, which has one of the largest concentration of high paying jobs across the county. Carolla received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Florida State University (while enlisted in the USAF) and has gone on to achieve his certification in business solutions from Michigan State University. He also graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Economic Development Institute, where he currently sets on the board, in addition to other local, regional, state and nation boards focusing on business growth and talent pipeline development. But most importantly being a husband and dad.
