Business Development Manager
Conrad Soltero is a management coach, trainer, researcher and author. He has been involved in technology transfer for over 21 years through the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership. In that time, he has assisted both private and public organizations improve their management systems in order to attain both top line growth as well as bottom line results. His primary professional interests are systems engineering, continuous improvement systems, lean thinking, constraint theory and quality management systems. Mr. Soltero has delivered technology transfer services to over 200 different businesses within and outside of manufacturing. He has a working knowledge of ISO 9000, TS 16949, AS 9100, ISO 14000, Total Quality Management, Lean Practices, Green Manufacturing, is a Six Sigma Black Belt, Innovation Engineering Black Belt, and a Shingo Research and Professional Publications Examiner. Mr. Soltero teaches all 5 of the TWI courses and is certified through the TWI Institute.
Mr. Soltero has authored numerous articles and research papers in Lean tools and techniques, environmental performance, quality management systems and innovation engineering. His most recent book, The 7 Kata, coauthored with Patrice Boutier, received the 2013 Shingo Prize for Professional Publications.
